Rich Castiglione, Show Director:
Rich's career in consumer and trade shows began in 1988 with Reed Exhibitions as a sales executive on home, boat, auto and food shows in New York, Chicago and Boston.
In 1994, the Reed home shows were purchased by Southex and Rich was promoted to group show manager for the northeast US properties. The transition from Southex to dmg world media resulted in Rich being promoted to national sales manager overseeing the sponsorship and corporate sales activities in Home Interest North America. With regionalization Rich was promoted to eastern regional director, and most recently was asked to serve as director of sales and training for Home Interest North America (overseeing $40m in exhibit space sales).
