“Britt’s Best Bites of the Week”

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And, what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

Disch’s Route 53 Tavern

South Shore: Pembroke, MA: Disch’s Route 53 Tavern

Disch’s Tavern opened its doors in 2015 when Paul Disch got a sign from the universe that law school was not for him. With hard work and determination, Disch’s Tavern came to be and has been a huge hit ever since! Here you can enjoy a wide variety of different items, including seafood, wood fired oven pizza and delicious entrees to make you feel right at home such as chicken pot pie. For bigger groups, Disch’s Tavern also hosts functions!

Cape Cod & Islands: Harwich, MA: Buca’s Tuscan Roadhouse

When in Harwich, if you are looking for a little taste of Italy, Buca’s is the perfect place. Here you can enjoy outstanding wine and cheese and feel like you are right in Italy! Start off with their Charcuterie Italiano and enjoy entrees such as their Caprese pasta (with lobster!) or Piccata Veal Scalopinni!

Magonis Ferry Landing

Magonis Ferry Landing is the perfect place to stop for a quick bite or for a function with family and friends. With a wide variety of options, there is something for everyone on the menu. In the mood for pizza? Or, perhaps you would like to treat yourself to some prime rib? Magonis is your spot! They are also well known for finishing off meals with their delicious cinnamon stix (yes, please!)

Rhode Island: Westerly, RI: The Cooked Goose

Whether you are looking for breakfast, lunch or looking to grab some take-out to bring back to your house, The Cooked Goose has so many options, from artisan cheeses to sandwiches and salads to their homemade baked goods! If you are in for breakfast, check out their breakfast burrito, which includes eggs, cheddar cheese, refried black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and jalapeno peppers – the perfect way to start your morning!
