For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

South Shore: The Jetty in Marshfield, MA

The Jetty opened in 2014 with a menu and décor inspired by a community of runners, cyclists, surfers and more who shared the same passion for an active and social lifestyle. A few years later, The Jetty became a full-service restaurant and a favorite South Shore destination!

Cape Cod & Islands: Oliver’s & Planck’s Tavern in Yarmouth Port, MA

Oliver’s & Planck’s Tavern has been family-owned sine 1983 with the goal to serve great food and drinks while providing upbeat entertainment in a relaxing and fun atmosphere. The dining room features cozy booths as well as all your favorite Cape Cod dishes. Their full menu is available all day and their wood-fired brick oven pizza starts at 5PM!

South Coast: Brew Fish Bar &Eatery in Marion, MA

Brew Fish Bar & Eatery is a fun place to be with family and friends in a casual, upscale environment. At Brew Fish, you can expect great service, great food, and great drinks that you will want to come back for. They also feature “Ch’ale Soup,” a chowder which combines two local favorites, chowder, and kale soup, into one unforgettable combination.

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: The Coastal Cabin in Narragansett, RI

The Coastal Cabin features creative coastal cuisine and has a rustic yet elevated homestyle fare with seafood, house made sausage, and chef-inspired comfort dishes. They offer all your New England favorites such as lobster rolls, seafood chowder, fish and chips, and more.

West Bay & South County: Thirsty Beaver in Cranston, RI

The Thirsty Beaver is a stylish yet classic pub-style restaurant that is set in a distinctive and vibrant log cabin. They have a fun and lively rock n’ roll atmosphere where you can enjoy an expansive draft beer selection, creatively nicknamed signature cocktails as well as delicious upscale pub fare.
