New Eats for True Foodies

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

South Shore: The Epicurean Kitchen from Hanover, MA

The Epicurean Kitchen was founded with the goal to make good food that makes people happy. They pride themselves on serving only the freshest ingredients sourced from local purveyors, farms, and growers. They feature a variety of different options on the menu including soups, sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and more!

Cape Cod & Islands: Bobby Byrne’s in Sandwich, MA

Bobby Byrne’s Pub is an “eating, drinking and talking establishment” that first opened in Mashpee back in 1973! Their logo is influenced by the Celtic Knot, which is weaved into the décor, menu, and throughout the walls.

South Coast: The Whale’s Tail in New Bedford, MA

The vision for The Whale’s Tail Clam Bar is an old school “clam bar” – a shack that serves fresh, locally caught seafood in a casual, beach environment. It’s the perfect spot to visit with family and friends that is cool, fun, and offers the opportunity for people to get a taste of the fishing industry.

West Bay & South County: CowesettInn in West Warwick, RI

Cowesett Inn is dedicated to fine service, and delicious food at moderate prices. There is something for everyone on the menu, whether you are visiting for a quick lunch break, or a relaxing dinner with family and friends. They also have uniquely curated cocktails that can be enjoyed in their lounge!

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: Becky’s BBQ in Middletown, RI

Becky’s opened in 1998 and since then has been dedicated to bringing a southern taste to the Northeast so that New Englander’s could have the opportunity to experience BBQ the way that it’s supposed to be! Not only does Becky’s offer regular takeout, but you can also order out for catering.
