Tasty Bites to Start Off the Year

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before. In addition, it gives you the chance to try out unique dishes and drinks. And what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

 

South Shore: Local Roots in Plymouth, MA

Local Roots is the perfect spot to head to for breakfast, lunch, or just for a snack mid-day! They serve wholesome and delicious food, including incredible acai bowls that will truly blow your taste buds away!

 

Cape Cod & Islands: Torino in Hyannis, MA

Torino is in the heart of Hyannis on Main Street. It is a great place to meet with friends and family for a relaxing drink at the end of the day and enjoy some unique and delicious dishes! They offer everything from Italian favorites to steaks to seafood, all accompanied by an extensive wine list!

 

South Coast: Bailey’s Surf N Turf in East Wareham, MA

Bailey’s has been a local establishment that is Chef owned and family run for over 32 years! They feature an upscale and relaxed atmosphere. There are 3 dining rooms and a fireplace in each, as well as an abundance of booths and tables, plus an open bar!

 

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: The Café at the Chanler in Newport, RI

The Café prepares dishes with ingredients that are from local farmers, ranchers, gardeners, and fishmongers. It also features an outdoor covered terrace with a newly installed heating system, clear siding, and socially distanced seating for a comfortable environment.

 

West Bay & South County: Aguardente in Providence, RI

Aguardente is the perfect restaurant to head to for celebrating food, spirits, and arts. Its environment and food is inspire by upbringings in Portugal, Guatemala, and Azores. Here, you are sure to enjoy a variety of truly mouthwatering dishes and drinks in a gorgeous atmosphere.
